Publisher's Note - I have a backlog of photograph submissions (a good thing). If you have submitted recently but not been published, keep the faith. At the moment, I am concentrating on "new faces", but I will definitely be getting back to the "regulars".
Please, keep the submissions coming. If I have to add a "gallery" thing to keep up, I'll figure out how to do it.

Hey Joel. I have been intrigued by this image since I first saw it. While chaotic, it has an elegance about it.
Joel, like all the work of yours that I have seen this image reflects a sensitive and, as Jim already stated, elegant eye.
A very balanced composition without seeming contrived. Nice work.

This is simply one of the best images I've ever seen of a fallen tree. It seems to show a respect for a passing life and a gentleness to displaying it.
